Well, actually it is just one girl on one bike, but making that title singular wouldn't have sounded as good. This is Alx, posing on my 1982 Yamaha 650 Seca Turbo. We had the bike in the middle of a field, in a patch of daisy's. Thank you to Shaun Stickle for helping push my bike out there.
I prefer to do outside portraits on over cast days, which this was, as it helps to defuse the sunlight and softens the image. Because of Alx's eyes, even though you can only see one, and the "not quite a smile" on her lips, this photo just begged for the dramatic effect of black and white.
Thank you to Alx for being my model, and thanks again to Shaun for the help pushing the bike into the field.
